From The President

My goal for 2017 is to continue our traditions while looking for new ways to support and engage our membership.  With our passionate volunteers on the Board of Directors, I’m confident that the UCNH Chamber of Commerce will continue to thrive and be a positive force for our members, the city and the community.

We already have good working relationships with our local Gov’t officials, local volunteer and charity organizations, and with the City of North Hollywood.  I’m hoping to strengthen those relationships and create greater value for those organizations and the UCNH membership, by working better together to help our community thrive.

The Chamber has an unlimited ROI if you get involved and stay engaged. Support your fellow members by buying local and giving local businesses first shot at earning your business. As I have been saying since day 1, I don’t want to be in the community, I want to be part of the community.

The friendships and relationships that we have built through the UCNH Chamber of Commerce are priceless. I never could have imagined being able to come into contact with so many incredible people and  as a new business coming into the community, would be so warmly  welcomed by the Chamber membership.

I invite and encourage ALL our members to take advantage of the many opportunities and benefits you now have as a Chamber member.   Please, increase your engagement with the Chamber and with your fellow members, that’s where the magic truly happens for your business.

Lastly, I’m reaching out to current and past members to please speak up and give us your feedback on what are we doing right, what can we improve and what more can we do to help your business grow.

Your Success = Our Success!

I look forward to a year of positively impacting our members’ and partners’ businesses!

Brian is the Owner of Liberty Tax in North Hollywood and President of the Universal City North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Involvement in the Committee promotes top of mind awareness for its Members and their companies, and offers Members opportunities to grow in an environment that fosters outreach, teamwork, and wellness.

Finance

The Finance Committee is dedicated to preserving the healthy financial future of the UCNH Chamber of Commerce. We are looking for Members to join the Committee and help work with us to ensure that this Chamber of Commerce will consistently grow into a leader of the United Chambers of Commerce by nurturing a healthy fiscal strategy.

Events

The Events Committee strives to link together the community and local businesses. Our goal is to continually empower businesses by introducing them to the community at large as well as other local Chamber Members. We continue pursuing this by way of community acknowledgment and information sharing, manifesting itself through celebrations, email trees and other forums for open communication.

Education

The Education Committee focuses on enabling and inspiring students to excel, and recognition thereof. Excellent educational achievement provides top quality personnel for professional success.

Government Affairs

The Government Affairs Committee advocates to elected officials economically viable policies, and informs the Chamber’s members of elected officials’ actions. Chamber Members may be on this committee and inform the committee of issues.

Please see our on-line Events Calendar for Committee Meeting dates. If you would like to join the Government Affairs Committee or receive more information, please contact Chairperson Vic Viereck at [email protected].

Community Affairs

The Community Affairs Committee advocates to elected officials economically viable policies, and informs the Chamber’s Members of elected officials’ actions. The advocacy of our Members business needs is combined with other chambers and business organizations. By being a Member of the United Chambers of Commerce and the Business Federation of Los Angeles County (BizFed), we give our Members a lot of influence with elected officials.
